Fig and Honey Flatbread
Directions
Craving a beautiful flatbread recipe for those plump, fresh figs that are in the store right now? Then make this flatbread using labne, a strained yogurt that is the consistency of soft cheese. Labne’s tartness pairs well with fresh figs and the drizzle of honey is the perfect touch. Open a bottle of vinho verde and you’re almost there. Flatbread wins again.
1 Flatout Flatbread
Labne (cream cheese will also work)
6-7 figs, sliced
Honey
Bake Flatout Flatbread for 2 minutes at 350 degrees F, then remove from the oven. Spread desired amount of labne on flatbread then return flatbread back to the oven and continue baking for 7-10 minutes or until labne begins to brown. Remove from oven and top with figs and drizzle with honey.
Suggested Flatout: Thin Pizza Crust - Rustic White
