Rochester, we fell in love with your red hots and your white hots, so we made you a flatbread pizza that uses them both! Your city has so much amazing food, it was easy to come up with a flatbread recipe with Zweigles’ best sausages, spicy mustard, a kick of sauerkraut, and some homemade pickles, baked up with Swiss cheese. Just perfect with a Genny Light!
The city of Rochester has two favorite sausages: the red hot and the white hot, so we put both on a flatbread pizza smothered with sauerkraut and mustard, the way it was meant to be. Find the recipe here:
Rochester – Red & White Hot Flatbread Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 Flatout flatbread
- 2 tablespoons spicy mustard
- 1 red hot, sliced
- 1 white hot, sliced
- 1/3 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 5-6 pickle chips, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place flatbread on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F for two minutes. Remove flatbread from oven. Spread on a layer of the spicy mustard, then top with hots, sauerkraut, and finally cheese. Bake for four minutes, then remove from oven. Garnish with pickles.
