Want to host a taco party in six minutes flat? Grab some Flatout flatbread and we will show you how to host something even better: a taco pizza party! These thin crust flatbread pizzas bake in a snap and can be topped with your favorite toppings, turning your kitchen into an impromptu taqueria whenever you have the craving for tacos, tacos, and more tacos.
This pizza has been selected as one of our Great for the Grill recipes. When the weather is gorgeous, dust off that outdoor grill and make a flatbread pizza, alfresco, for your hungry party. There’s nothing better than a hint of woodsmoke on your melted cheese, and these flatbread pizzas cook even faster on the grill than they do in the oven. You don’t need a fancy pizza steel (but feel free to use one) for the flatbreads, just a spatula and tongs, tools you already have. It may be time to switch it up and eat pizza from the grill tonight!
Read how easy it is to grill your own healthy, gourmet flatbread pizza below the recipe.
Ingredients can be left entirely up to you, but the fresher, bolder, and spicier the better. And you don’t have to be ambidextrous, either, to assemble these flatbreads! Our cook in the video just has extraordinary talents.
We took some taco seasoning and mixed it up with cubes of tender roasted chicken for extra spice. If you are pressed for time, as so many of us are, most of the ingredients you can use on the flatbread can be picked up, already prepped, at your favorite local salad bar on the way home tonight. How easy is that? Peppers, corn, black beans, cheese, tomatoes, all ready to go; all you need next is some pico de gallo and a package of Flatout Artisan Thin Pizza Crusts.
Then, once you’re home, put on some music, find the tequila, and switch on the oven. Find some lovely little dishes and set them out, filling them with all your chopped and crumbled ingredients. Cut some limes, (you know why!) then find the cilantro and give it a good rinse. By the time your guests show up you will be more than ready to start the party.
Our delicious flatbreads make it easy to indulge, easy to have a party, without feeling guilty about high calories or breaking diets. Which means that you can have fun, any night of the week, with Flatout. With tacos, tacos, and, of course, more tacos! Olé!
